Who Are We?
Founded in 2017 by the inspiring Karen Farquhar, our story is rooted in friendship and a commitment to making every ceremony memorable. In March 2026, we evolved into ‘The Collective’—a collaborative community of diverse celebrants who share knowledge and cheer each other on to provide you with the best experience possible.
While we are predominantly based in the North East of Scotland, our members travel throughout the UK, from Inverness to London and everywhere in between.
Aberdeen Celebrant – The Collective are a small, North East based community of like minded individuals, rooted in shared human values. We provide a means and safe space for people to meet, discuss and share values, principles and relevant topics. We are led by our ethos to practice kindness and care for people and the world in which we live.
In the never ending chaos and turmoil in today’s climate, we believe we should focus on the things that bring us together, rather than divide us, and one of those things is love.
